Bronnzell

The organ in Bronnzell was built in 1971 by E. Bauer from Unterasbach. Unfortunately, the pipe work was badly damaged by improper treatment of mold with a chlorine-containing disinfectant. Scanning electron micrographs show the strongly oxidized surfaces of tin pipes and lead ingots. They are designed to eliminate intergranular changes that can trigger irreversible chemical metal restructuring. The pipe work was professionally restored, the organ cleaned and after the installation of a new engine and re-balancing of the wind conditions, the organ carefully revoiced.
