The new Hey-Organ in Heyerode

Currently the new pipe organ for the Catholic Parish in Heyerode is being manufactured in our workshop. The aim is to provide an organ with modern technical abilities utilizing Oskar Ladegast's historic pipe organ built in 1910.

The original organ underwent a Neo-Baroque face-lift in the 1950's, however damage from wood pests hindered further restoration work. At present, the organ is being refurbished to ensure true 19th century orchestral pipe organ sound. The current work is multifaceted including the disposition being reconstructed and supplemented with new organ stops, construction of a new organ case, a new generously dimensioned Swell with enhanced walls, and having the organ itself be positioned away from the tower arch and into the church facing towards the front. These enhancements will ensure optimum sound radiance of the instrument.

The first picture shows the finished organ in the church interior, while the second picture is one of the photo mock-ups that were created to find the best design.
