Pyeongnae, Korea

Pyeongnae in Korea

In Pyeongnae we were set a particularly difficult task - to build an instrument with few registers, yet fill the given room with pleasant sounds and lead the congregation in worship. We accepted and fulfilled the challenge to the great satisfaction of the very active congregation in Pyeongnae. The design of the organ reflects the church logo, and we succeeded in giving the organ a large and fundamental sound, without penetrant sharpness in tone. We were very well received by the community, we lived in the church, we ate our meals there, cooked by the people and were given the chance to enjoy a little of the Korean culture. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
